4 to 9 days, starting in Avignon. The Mont Ventoux in Vaucluse and Drome departments will be your companion all along your trip. This huge mountain hides splendid places. Provencal villages as well as beautiful nature. This cycling tour is medium or heavy if you would choose to climb the Mont Ventoux. Avignon the cultural center of Provence, street-theatre, music, a place of and for artists. Vaison-la-Romaine (60,000 Romans lived there 2000 years ago as you will see by yourself). Vaison has a medieval old city and famous market on Tuesday morning. You be cycling through Côtes-du-Rhône illages-wineyards all along your trip north of the Mont Ventoux. You will cycle the canyon of the Gorges de la Nesque at the Southern side of the Mont Ventoux. You'll visit Abbaye de Senanque. On last day you will see the famous surging river Fontaine de Vaucluse where Petrarca  wrote his poems. Extension to the Luberon in the 7, 8 and 9 days trips.
We can combine this cycling trip with a wineries program.
If you'd want to ride up the Mont Ventoux, we recommend you take an extra night in Vaison-la-Romaine.

The track and the stages.

The 4, 5, 6 and 7 day tours are available as light or "active" tours.
The 8 and 9 days tours are only available as "active' or "sporting" tours.
Shower/bath in room (en suite).
Starting days : any day of the week from april till november.
 

Starting place: Avignon. But if you prefer to avoid city bustle of Avignon you can also start in Cavaillon.
In Avignon you'll stay in a B&B hotel.

If you rent a bike, cycling starts on day 2 from Cavaillon.

You can take the train or taxi (20km) from Avignon or from Marseille to travel directly to Cavaillon if you don't want to stay a night in Avignon.

Not included in basic rate: Dinners in Avignon, dinner in Buis-les-Baronnies, dinner in Vaison-la-Romaine, lunches, train/taxi from Avignon to and from Cavaillon, all beverages, bike rental.
Price of lunches (take away picknicks) :  10-13 EURO.

Supplement July and August: €4 per person, per night in July or August.
