This cycling tour is a light tour. Abbaye de SenanqueAvignon is where you start, the cultural center of Provence, (street)theatre, music, a place of and for artists.

You'll see the Alpilles: les Baux-de-Provence, and St.Rémy-de-Provence

 

You'll visit Abbaye de Senanque.

You will go into the Luberon and see the famous surging river Fontaine de Vaucluse where Petrarca  wrote his poems.

Train & Bus  From Marseille Airport to Luberon and Avignon in Provence
  • Take the shuttle bus to SNCF railway station of Vitrolles Aeroport Marseille.
    Bus leaves every 20 minutes and it takes 5 minutes to arrive.
  • Here take a train ticket to Avignon or Cavaillon.
    On all days of the week you'll have 4 opportunities between 12:00 and 20:00 to go to Avignon
    (in 1hr 25 min) or to Cavaillon (in 55 min).
